Undergraduate students accepted into the Accelerated Program can complete a Bachelor of Arts’ (B.A.) degree plus a Master of Arts’ degree in Communication in just 5 years.
Under the Accelerated Program, students can take up to 9 credits of graduate coursework that count towards both the Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication as well as the Master of Arts degree in Communication.
The graduate credits are paid at the lower undergraduate tuition, and then upon successful completion of the BA and acceptance into the graduate program, the M.A. can be completed in just 12 months.
Adding an M.A. degree to an undergraduate B. A. adds credentials allowing to students further their careers in the communication field or in related fields such as marketing, human resources, and teaching.
Adding an M.A. degree also enables students to pursue a doctoral program.
ESU’s M.A. degree program in Communication is highly customizable to meet the student’s needs.
Students have the option of taking up to two courses outside the department.
Students have the option to conduct an Independent Study with a Professor.
Students have option of completing either a Master’s Thesis or a Master's Professional Experience.
ESU’s M.A. degree coursework is a mixture of online courses and face-to-face courses.
