The EC Professional Program is tailored to your individual goals and offers both face-to-face
and online course options, making it possible to balance your education with work,

Students in the EC Professional Program gain the knowledge and experience to pursue

Many graduates find rewarding positions as paraprofessionals, working alongside certified
teachers to support children’s learning and development. Others pursue roles in community-based
and informal education, such as positions at environmental centers, children’s museums,
historic sites, libraries, recreation programs, and science museums, places where
education happens through exploration, creativity, and interaction.
In addition, graduates often apply their skills in related educational fields, including
educational publishing, curriculum development, tutoring and academic enrichment programs,
early childhood advocacy organizations, social service agencies, family resource centers,

human services, and faith-based ministries. These diverse pathways allow students
