Summer sessions begin May 19 and enrollments can be processed through the start of any individual summer term. So take a look at the courses being offered and register today!

ESU Summer sessions help educators get started or update certification requirements.

Whether it is starting a program or just taking a couple of courses to maintain or update your certification, educators can choose from more than 50 summer courses that best fits their classroom needs. Secondary education advanced content courses challenge you to look beyond traditional education classes and find new opportunities to expand your curriculum.

Do you already have a degree? Are you looking for post-baccalaureate/graduate courses or programs?

Working professionals and recent college graduates are able to register for graduate-level courses for personal and professional development.

Credits completed as a graduate summer student may be eligible to be used towards a graduate degree.

  • If you are new to ESU and just want to take summer graduate courses, fill out the Graduate Application as Non-Degree.
  • Looking to start your graduate degree or certification program this summer? Fill out the Graduate College Application.

Students with an offer of admission to start in Fall 2026 can apply for early summer start:

  • Select the link below and login with your email and password.
  • Select "Start New Application" an then select undergraduate application
  • All students should select "Start Term Summer” and select non-degree

There is no fee and there are no requirements to submit transcripts for summer if you are only planning to take summer courses.

Please be sure to select the correct application and registration term:

  • First time users will need to create an account to start a new application.
  • Select "Start New Application" an then select undergraduate application
  • All students should select "Start Term Summer” and apply as non-degree.

There is no fee and there are no requirements to submit transcripts for summer if you are only planning to take summer courses. If you are planning to complete a degree with ESU you will need to complete a regular application.

After you complete your application, you will see a screen that instructs you how to register. Please either print the screen or jot down your registration information.
