The Schisler Museum and McMunn Planetarium offer the only science center in the Pocono Mountains where you can enjoy nature and astronomy all under one roof!

Public Hours

Admission includes all-day access to both the museum and planetarium. No reservations are required.

Group Visits

Available for group bookings Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Customized tours are available for all ages. See Group Visits page for options.

Schools, day care centers, and homeschoolers as well as special interest clubs, scout troops, and senior groups are all invited to enhance their activities with a specialized program.

Inquiries from tour operators offering educational experiences in the Pocono Mountains region are also welcome.

Admission

• No reservations required to visit during public hours. 
• Admission is cashless. Credit/Debit and tap-to-pay are accepted.

Group Visits

• Open to groups year-round, Tuesday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. See Group Visits page for options.
• Please try to book Spring visits during the previous Fall, as the schedule fills up quickly.
• Two weeks' notice is required to book guided tours.

Holiday Closings

• November 3-7: Closed
• November 25-29: closed for Thanksgiving week
• December 9-13: Closed for Finals
• December 23-January 2: Closed for Winter Break

Admission

Admission is cashless. MasterCard, Visa, and tap-to-pay are accepted.

Advance tickets are not required for general admission. Group visits require advance registration.

Admission is at the front desk upon entry. Request a parking permit at admission.

• Seniors ages 60+: $7
• Members and children under 3: Free
• ESU students with current ID: Free
• Special needs aides with a guest are admitted for free
• Groups of eight or more receive group rate; advance reservations are required.
