  2. Creates Workforce Development Training Programs in the areas of student employability, organizational, business development, and industry specific skills.

WEDnetPA

WEDnetPA was developed to strengthen the business environment of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and our region by providing a training network responsive to employers' workforce development needs.

East Stroudsburg University of PA is one of the statewide WEDnetPA Partners authorized to apply for funding on your behalf.

Please contact Breanna Betarie, Director of Career and Workforce Development for more information (570) 422-3045.

A new WEDnetPA process now requires only one application, a Job Skills training plan and contract.

Training funds are available up to $2,000 per eligible employee (not to exceed $100,000 per eligible fiscal year).

A WEDnetPA employer chooses the training, the trainer and the training method. Qualified in-state businesses and out-of-state companies relocating to the economic-friendly business climate of Pennsylvania can apply for funding to train new and existing employees.

Select East Stroudsburg University as your Partner and we can help you conduct an assessment and develop a training plan to meet those needs.
